One of the new features this year is the I Exhibition of Local Television Programmes. The objective is to screen a sample of the best programmes that have been broadcast on local television channels. The Exhibition aims to incentivise greater awareness of local television programmes and acknowledge the great work carried out by local television channels, which often have to adapt their productions to a very tight budget without that compromising quality.
All programmes that have been broadcast on local television programmes anywhere in the world between January 2006 and April 2008 are eligible to participate in the Exhibition.
