Jury

The jury for the MAC prizes will be made up of people of recognised prestige within the audiovisual sector. There will be two juries, one specific jury for the MAC Technology Prize, and another for the New Format, Serialised Project and Multiplatform Programme Prizes.

Marta Polo Pujol (Barcelona, 1979), director Canal Català Graduate in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her professional beginnings were directly linked to the editing and presentation of local news programmes on TV20 and Canal Terrassa. She later worked as a presenter and head of news services at Canal 10 in Rubí and later, at Canal Català Vallès, while acting as EFE correspondent for the Vallès Occidental area. In the year 2005 she took on the direction of Canal Català Vallès and in the year 2007 that of Canal Català. Marta Polo currently combines her work as director of Canal Català with presenting national news programme Redacció Catalunya.

Marga Baró

Pere Gibert i Casasayas. Born in Terrassa on 28 September 1977. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University. He began his professional career as an announcer on Matadepera Ràdio.
He has worked for 8 years at Canal Terrassa TV and Ràdio Municipal de Terrassa. Between the years 2002 and 2005 he was Head of News and Programmes for these two media outlets.
In the year 2006 he formed part of the team for the programme “Matins.COM” on COM Ràdio.
He is currently in charge of Local Television Network Programmes and director of the XTVL new audiovisual formats project called “Denominació d’Origen”.
