Jury

The jury for the MAC prizes will be made up of people of recognised prestige within the audiovisual sector. There will be two juries, one specific jury for the MAC Technology Prize, and another for the New Format, Serialised Project and Multiplatform Programme Prizes.

Miguel Ramírez Martín Dean of the School of Telecommunications Engineers since July 2005, after a spell as a member of the School’s Governing Board. He is a graduate in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He developed his professional career at Telefónica de España, mainly in the area of Customer Engineering. He is professor at the School of Engineering at the Ramon Llull University. In 2004 he began a new professional phase as an Information Technologies consultant, which he combines with his work as a Business Angel, which he began following a training period at the IESE, in the company Batic25.

Pere Vila i Fumàs Director of Technology of the CCMA He has a doctorate in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and is a Higher Engineer in Telecommunications from the ETSI of the same university, Technical Engineer in Telecommunications from the Engineers School of La Salle Bonanova (Ramon Llull University) and holds an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona. Since 1994, he has formed part of the Board of Directors of the Catalan Government’s Telecommunications Centre, of the permanent Committee of the Telecommunications Permanent Advisory Council (MICYT) and the Board of Administration of Collserola Tower.
